It´s so easy to fool movie cri...Totally agree, man. It´s so easy to fool movie critics... they recognize a few gestures of what it´s consider as "good cinema" (minimun dialog, etc), and inmediatly it is regarded as a masterpiece. I was shocked to see how many good reviews this film had. What irritates me more it´s the evident manipulation the screenplay has, an it`s shown as if there`s no manipultation at all, it pretends to show no manipulation, and in the end it is incredible evident and forced how the filmmakers want us to feel about the characters, as you well describe.
